What sections might get forgotten about that we need to bring back?

I must apologise to Ezee for making more work for her, but what sections ought we to create that we might otherwise forget about?

Questions would be fairly near the top of my list.

I suggest we create 1 Old Section that has a detailed recreation of all the old forums sections according to scrupulous rememorying of them by a focus team. And 2 we create 2 New Sections where Old Section content (which still needs to be created) can constantly be put through the crucible. It could be like a Mad Max scenario. Here we are, apocalypse behind us.

Perhaps it should all just flow organically from today's needs and impulses?

Either that or a compromise. Some damn grudging accommodation that NOBODY WANTS. Whaddya think?

Sorry that was asinine. I feel like I could PROBABLY remember the old divisions in a pretty detailed way but maybe some of them were necessary then more than now? That's my thought.

Perhaps even a state of the world section that we can ignore if we wish, or alternatively wallow in.

That is definitely a comprehensive list of sections. There's actually at least like 5 on that list that I didn't even know existed. I feel like we would be remiss, though, if we didn't take this opportunity to maybe streamline the list a little.

Either that, or just go wild with it and start making a bunch of even more specific and redundant sections. Honestly, anything goes at the moment.

Oh, yes! I was merely providing a comprehensive list for people to peruse and pick out their favorites. I was by no means implying we should return them all. As a former creator and advocate of the Forum Graveyard I very much appreciate a minimalist approach to forums. But as you also note in the end the people decide and with this group it's likely to spaghetti out all over the place!
